The power of Native-Born In Peace-Making Through Dialogue and Compassion
By (ASYARFS)
Peace is not built in conference halls alone; it is built in homes, markets, schools, farms, places of worship, and village squares where women interact, nurture families, and hold communities together. Across sub-Saharan Africa, native-born women have always been pillars of resilience, cultural preservation, and social harmony. Their role in peace-making is both historic and indispensable.
At the Asabe Yar’Adua Foundation (ASYARFS), we believe that empowering native-born women through dialogue, compassion, and leadership is essential to building peaceful and resilient communities. When women are strengthened, communities become stronger, conflicts become easier to resolve, and the foundations for sustainable development become more secure.
